GBE brokers has a Trust Score of 71, giving it a "Average Risk" Trust Score Label.

Eightcap's impresses most with its crypto offering; traders at Eightcap gain access to an impressive range of cryptocurrency CFDs (though these are not available to traders in the U.K.). Though Eightcap doesn't offer any proprietary trading platforms or mobile apps, it provides the full MetaTrader platform suite (including MT5) as well as several plugins and third-party tools like TradingView and Capitalise.ai. That said, Eightcap has a somewhat limited offering of CFDs and tradeable symbols, and the broker's educational content has room to improve.

Founded in 2013 and based in Cyprus, GBE Brokers offers the full MetaTrader suite (both MT4 and MT5) as well as a decent range of markets (500 available symbols). That said, GBE's lack of significant regulatory licenses (outside of Cyprus) brings down its overall Trust Score rating.

Tier-1 is reserved for the strictest, most stringent regulatory jurisdictions in the world. Tier-1 regulators impose additional capital requirements and require a tougher initial screening process. Eightcap holds regulatory licenses in the following Tier-1 jurisdictions: Australia (ASIC Authorised) and United Kingdom (U.K.) (FCA Authorised). GBE brokers, on the other hand, is licensed in these Tier-1 regulatory jurisdictions: none. Neither have Canada (CIRO Authorised), Hong Kong (SFC Authorised), CBI Authorised (Ireland), Japan (SFC Authorised), Singapore (MAS Authorised), New Zealand (FMA Authorised), Switzerland (FINMA Authorised) and USA (CFTC Authorized)

Tier-2 and tier-3 licenses are still important in evaluating the overall trustworthiness of forex brokers. As far as tier-2 licenses go, both Eightcap and GBE brokers are Cyprus (CySEC Authorised).. Neither have China (CBRC Authorised), India (SEBI Authorised), Israel (ISA Authorised), Russia (CBR Authorised), South Africa (FSCA Authorised), Thailand (SEC Authorised) and UAE (DFSA/Central Bank Authorised). When comparing tier-3 licenses Eightcap is Bahamas (SCB Authorised), while GBE brokers is British Virgin Islands (FSC Authorised).. Neither have Belize (FSC Authorised), Bermuda (BMA Authorised), Cayman Islands (CIMA Authorised), Mauritius (FSC Authorised) and Vanuatu (VFSC Authorised).

Whether your broker develops its own proprietary platforms or provides access to popular third-party platforms, you should make sure you can use your preferred type of trading platform. In our testing, we found that both Eightcap and GBE brokers offer a Desktop Platform (Windows). Neither have Proprietary Platform, cTrader, DupliTrade and ZuluTrade

Eightcap requires a minimum deposit of $100, while GBE brokers requires a minimum deposit of $500. You'll also want to make sure that your broker accepts the funding options and deposit methods that work best for you. In our testing, we've found that both Eightcap and GBE brokers offer Bank Wire (Deposit/Withdraw), Visa/Mastercard (Credit/Debit), PayPal (Deposit/Withdraw) and Skrill (Deposit/Withdraw) for deposits
