VT Market offers its own proprietary mobile app as well as access to the full MetaTrader platform suite (including MetaTrader 5). VT Markets also offers support for popular third-party tools like Trading Central and trading signals from Acceage, as well as social copy trading from Zulutrade. Though the broker continues to evolve, there are fewer markets to trade than what is available at the best brokers, and its research and educational materials are limited. It's also worth noting that VT Markets no longer benefits from being part of the Vantage Group of companies, which weighs down its overall Trust Score.

Founded in 2007, Forex4you is primarily a MetaTrader broker that offers a limited range of available markets. Forex4You only holds one Tier-4 regulatory license (in the British Virgin Islands), which significantly weighs down its Trust Score rating.

Tier-1 is reserved for the strictest, most stringent regulatory jurisdictions in the world. Tier-1 regulators impose additional capital requirements and require a tougher initial screening process. VT Markets holds regulatory licenses in the following Tier-1 jurisdictions: Australia (ASIC Authorised). Markets4you, on the other hand, is licensed in these Tier-1 regulatory jurisdictions: none. Neither have Canada (CIRO Authorised), Hong Kong (SFC Authorised), CBI Authorised (Ireland), Japan (FSA Authorised), Singapore (MAS Authorised), New Zealand (FMA Authorised), Switzerland (FINMA Authorised), United Kingdom (U.K.) (FCA Authorised) and USA (CFTC Authorized)

Tier-2 and tier-3 licenses are still important in evaluating the overall trustworthiness of forex brokers. As far as tier-2 licenses go, VT Markets is South Africa (FSCA Authorised) and UAE (DFSA, FSRA, or CMA Authorised), while Markets4you is none.. Neither have China (CBRC Authorised), Cyprus (CySEC Authorised), India (SEBI Authorised), Israel (ISA Authorised), Russia (CBR Authorised) and Thailand (SEC Authorised). When comparing tier-3 licenses VT Markets is none, while Markets4you is British Virgin Islands (FSC Authorised).. Neither have Bahamas (SCB Authorised), Belize (FSC Authorised), Bermuda (BMA Authorised), Cayman Islands (CIMA Authorised), Mauritius (FSC Authorised) and Vanuatu (VFSC Authorised).

Whether your broker develops its own proprietary platforms or provides access to popular third-party platforms, you should make sure you can use your preferred type of trading platform. In our testing, we found that VT Markets offers a Desktop Platform (Windows), whereas Markets4you supports a Proprietary Desktop Trading Platform and Desktop Platform (Windows). Neither have cTrader, DupliTrade [DELETED] and ZuluTrade [DELETED]
