AvaTrade are amongst the top online brokers available for traders in Romania. They are a multinational company with regional offices based in various locations around the world. AvaTrade Ltd. are regulated by the BVI Financial Services Commission whilst their subsidiary in Europe, AVA Trade EU Ltd., is incorporated in Ireland and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. The company’s website is available in over 15 different languages, including Romanian, making it an ideal choice for Romanian clients.
AvaTrade offers access to more than 250 financial instruments including contracts for difference (CFDs), indices, stocks, shares, cryptocurrencies, and Forex. The company’s website provides extensive educational resources for traders including educational videos, eBooks, webinars, market indicators, and in-depth articles. They have also recently launched a dedicated learning and educational platform for customers known as SharpTrader. Whilst this is not available in the Romanian language, clients with a knowledge of English, German or 6 other languages will find the site useful.
AvaTrade’s products and services can be accessed by customers via multiple platforms and devices, including mobiles, tablets, and desktop computers. A demo account is also available for traders to get acquainted with the platforms. AvaTrade accepts two deposit methods: wire transfer (minimum EUR/USD/GBP 500); and credit/debit card (minimum EUR/USD/GBP 100).

Plus500 is a trading broker for contracts for difference (CFDs) on multiple asset classes including forex and shares. The Plus500 trading platform is provided in Romania by their subsidiary company, Plus500CY Ltd, which is based in Cyprus with its head office in Limassol. The company is licensed by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) to provide access to financial instruments such as CFDs for currencies, stocks, commodities, indices, cryptocurrencies and more. Availability and access to cryptocurrencies is subject to regulation. Most instruments are traded as CFDs through the platform.
For customers in Romania, a dedicated Romanian language website is provided, along with Romanian language customer support available via live chat and email. In addition, Romanian can be selected for the trading platform, and the Romanian leu can be selected as the base currency for the account. This must be selected prior to carrying out any trading on the account and can be done so by contacting a customer service operative.
The Plus500 trading platform is intuitive and straightforward to use, providing customers with information and technology to support trading.
